What should I wear?
I suggest bringing the outfits you feel you look your best in. Bring more outfits than you than you plan on shooting so we have some a variety of choices. I will tell you if something looks ugly. It's nice to have something a little dressy or sophisticated as well as something casual. Don't overthink it, if you like it, just go for it and let me worry about making it work. Feel free to bring a closet of outfits, that way we can mix and match if needed. It can also be fun to get creative with accessories such as jewelry, scarves, hats, etc. You can even bring props even if you want. For actors, I suggest dressing for the roles you want to play or feel you're best for. It's much easier to get an audition when you already look the part. For models, I say the more creative and interesting the outfit the better, but make sure you are showing your best features (or hiding others). Accessories are great for fashion pix.

How Important is Hair + Makeup?
I personally think you're crazy not to invest the extra money in hair + makeup. Even if you have flawless skin and natural beauty, hair + makeup is a must. There's a reason the world's most gorgeous actors + models always use hair + makeup. If you're deciding between hair + makeup or shooting more looks, go with the hair + makeup, you will look amazing in your photos. The typical excuse people give me is "I want to look natural when I go in for an audition". True, but having your hair + makeup done isn't about making you look like a Maybeline ad, it's about highlighting your best features (or hiding some), eliminating shine, and making you camera friendly. It's not like we're getting you ready for a circus act, we want you to look natural. And WHEN they cast you guess what, they do your hair + makeup.

Is it cheaper if I just have you do makeup and I do my own hair?

No. A lot of work goes into your makeup alone, the hair is usually the easy part.

Do you print headshots?
I leave it up to the printing professionals to print headshots. This is a specialized service of it's own. I have listed a few recommendations under Resources.

How could anyone NOT hire you?
It's a crazy world and that's just one of many things that baffle me. The point is, you hired me, so that makes you pretty neat and far more intelligent than most...and you're attractive.

How Many Photos do I Get?
I really don't limit how many photos I shoot. I get a little carried away and shoot hundreds of shots per look just to make sure I get the perfect one. I also go thru and pick my favorites and recommend some pics for you. Many of my clients narrow their choices down to a few dozen, then eventually down to a few of their favorites. You'll see from my client comments I get that most of my clients say they love too many - what a nice problem to have huh!

Can I bring a friend on my shoot?
Sure, it's always fun having a friend on your shoot. This usually helps you relax and be yourself.

I've never done this before, what if I suck?
Many of my clients are doing a shoot for their first time. I believe it's up to the photographer to make everyone look their best and feel comfortable in front of the camera. Ironically, my most frightened clients end up being the most talented models. So if you're nervous, that means you'll do great!!!

Do you have another job?
Now that I've retired from being a supermodel, grammy award-winning musician, fighter pilot, and an accomplished pro athlete, being a bad ass photographer is a full time job for me.
